今号では、8月28日から今月1日までアメリカ・シカゴで開催されたアメリカ・アーキビスト協会（Society of American Archivists、略してSAA）の第71回年次大会での発表内容をご紹介いたします。SAAは1936年に結成された北米を中心としたアーキビストの専門家団体です。2006-2007年度の同協会会長はフォード自動車グローバル情報管理部長のエリザベス・W・アトキンス（Elizabeth W Adkins）さん。1986年から1996年まではシカゴに本拠をおくクラフトフーズ社グローバルアーカイブズ部長でした。アトキンスさんの大会挨拶の概要は次のURLで読むことができます。
