The Information Resources Center is actively involved in a range of projects that aim to improve international access to and use of materials and information related to Japan, with a focus on business history.
The Information Resources Center is a member of the International Council on Archives (ICA) and Steering Committee member of the ICA’s Section on Business Archives (SBA) from 2008 to 2024. Its involvement in the ICA/SBA allows the Center to join an international network of business archives and other institutions that manage historical documents related to business history.

The Resource Center for the History of Entrepreneurship is involved with the North American Coordinating Council on Japanese Library Resources, sitting on the Image Use Protocol Task Force, hosting the 2008 Tokyo Conference and compiling a record of the conference, producing the Image Use Protocol Guide, and presenting at workshops throughout Europe and North America.

In May 2007 the ground-breaking Japan-U.S. Archives Seminar was held in Tokyo. The Resource Center for the History of Entrepreneurship sat on the executive committee and took care of administrative matters.
